Learn how to send notifications via
SMS and team messaging from a
Raspberry Pi app with sensors

In this meetup talk, you will learn how to connect IoT devices like Raspberry Pi and Arduino with the RingCentral platform, particularly the High Volume (HV) SMS and Team Messaging APIs to send alerts and notifications. We will walk through a demo of software (application code) and hardware setup, including connecting a Raspberry Pi 4 with sensors like a camera with motion detection so you can monitor and trigger alerts based on user preference and business rules using either the HV SMS or Team Messaging API. The application code and hardware description will be open sourced and available on GitHub for hacking and building your own IoT monitoring system.
